The Gettysburg Address
On November 19,1863, President Abraham Lincoln delivered one of the most famous speeches in American History- The Gettysburg Address. It was a speech dedicating the fallen soldiers who had died at the Battle of Gettysburg and the obstacles that were a test to see whether the democratic nation could survive. In those 3 minutes, President Lincoln managed to sum up the whole of the war in just ten well-thought out sentences.
